- IN THE SPOTLIGHT: Brandon Jones and the No. 19 Menards / Turtle Wax Toyota team head to Auto Club Speedway this weekend for the final race of the West Coast swing. This will be Jones’ fourth start on the two-mile, low-banked, D-shaped superspeedway. This track has always been a challenging one for Jones, but the team is carrying a lot of momentum with four strong runs to include three top-10 finishes out of the first four races. This is a track that aligns with Jones’ driving style, which should produce another strong finish.
· JGR AT AUTO CLUB SPEEDWAY: JGR has 58 total starts at Auto Club Speedway in the NXS, earning nine wins, 22 top-five finishes, 33 top-10 finishes and 11 pole-starting positions. The team has led 1,193 laps, completed 8,355 of 8,708 attempted laps (95.9%) and earned an average start of 10.9 and an average finish of 12.0. Kyle Busch has six of the team’s wins, Joey Logano with two and Tony Stewart with one.
· FUTURE MENARDS RACES: Menards home improvement stores along with several of their best vendor partners will be the primary sponsors for Brandon Jones for 12 races in the NXS in 2019. This week Menards will be sporting Turtle Wax for the first time this year. Jones will be piloting the No. 19 Menards Supra for JGR at Bristol Motor Speedway on April 6, Charlotte Motor Speedway on May 25, Chicagoland Speedway on June 29, Kentucky Speedway on July 12, Iowa Speedway on July 27, Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course on August 10, Bristol Motor Speedway on August 16, Dover International Speedway on October 5, and ISM on November 9.

Auto Club Speedway has always challenged my driving skills to the max. To prepare, I’ll do a lot of studying, watching old race tape and working with my team at the Toyota simulator.
