- This was Kaz Grala’s first NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course
- The 19-year-old’s best position during the 75-lap race was sixth, which is where he was scored for the final laps of Stage 1, earning him five stage points
- The No. 61 team was assessed a speeding penalty during its first pit stop of the day, dropping them back to 31st for the start of the second stage; Grala worked his way back up to 15th before the conclusion of the stage
- Grala was hit from behind and spun by another competitor on Lap 71, dropping him to 29th
- In its nine races as an organization, the Fury team has run in the top 10 at one point in every event except Chicagoland Speedway, where an electrical problem took Grala out of the race on Lap 1
Quote “I had a good run going today; we made strides on our handling all day and our DMB Financial team got the car dialed in just in time for Stage 3. I drove up to ninth by 12 to go, but I couldn’t catch a break from there and ended up getting taken out with just a few laps to go. This wasn’t the day we were hoping for, but I’m confident we can bring what we learned today with us to Road America for redemption.”
