With two podiums in their first full-season of a GTD class entry, Team Korthoff Motorsports has brought the competition to the track with their Mercedes-AMG crew and full-time drivers, Mike Skeen and Stevan McAleer.

After a solid finish that was just short of the podium at the 2022 Detroit Grand Prix, the No. 32 Mercedes-AMG Motorsport Customer Racing car and driver lead the 2022 championship in points, while running just four points shy of the manufacturer points lead.

The organization has been a strong competitor since the start of the season, both on and off the track with results that show. Driver Stevan McAleer produced dominant results on-track after tripling his position at the start of the previous race in Detroit.

Sunday’s race at Watkins Glen International marks the eighth race of the season for the team, on the 2022 schedule. Dirk Müller will be joining McAleer and Skeen to round out the driver lineup for the third endurance race of the season.
Stevan McAleer, Driver No. 32 Team Korthoff Motorsports – “Very excited to race at my home track and one of my favorites in America. Watkins Glen has typically been good to me in the past and coming in as Championship leader, I hope the run of good luck continues. I think the high speed, long duration corners will suit the Mercedes well, and another tick of a box competing in my first Six Hours of The Glen. Having Mike and the addition of Dirk on board, there is no weakness, we just need to get the car dialed in quickly in practice and then execute in the race.”
Mike Skeen, Driver No. 32 Team Korthoff Motorsports – “Watkins Glen is always a great place to race, and it will be fun to get back to another one of the endurance races. After a good test last week with Stevan and Dirk, I think we are ready to hit the ground running. The AMG should be right in its element on such a fast and flowing track.”
Dirk Müller, Driver No. 32 Team Korthoff Motorsports – “After a really warm welcome from the team in Laguna Seca, where I subbed in for Mike on short notice, I had much more time to spend with Mike, Stevan and the team at our two day test in VIR. Now, I am really looking forward to getting it going at the Six Hours of The Glen. We are well prepared and our Team Korthoff AMG should be fast. Let’s do this!”
Coverage of the Sahlen’s Six Hours of The Glen will take place on IMSA TV, USA Network, and Peacock starting at 10:35 a.m. ET on Sunday, June 26th for the 8th race of the season. Visit IMSA.comfor more information.
