Reserved Camping Nearly Sold Out at Martinsville Speedway

For race fans still on the fence about camping at Martinsville Speedway, a limited number of reserved camping spots in the North Lot, as well as general admission camping, are all that remain for STP 500 race weekend presented by whosyourdriver.org, March 23-25.

Champions’ Overlook, Backstretch and the new South Lot Camping have all sold out.

“We have always had a high demand for our reserved camping, and this year is no different,” Martinsville Speedway President Clay Campbell said. “We expanded it this year by adding the South Lot Camping and that sold out within a week. Of course, we have plenty of general admission camping available, so if you arrive race week, we will have a spot for you.

“Fans know they will get a first-class camping experience here, and a very affordable price. They are staying closer to the track than anywhere and camping for an entire week is less than a night or two in a hotel.”

The North Lot Reserved camping is $150 for the week, while General Admission camping is just $125.

Camping includes two tickets to Friday’s practice.

The campgrounds open on Saturday, March 17.

The STP 500 weekend presented by whosyourdriver.org is March 23-25.

The weekend starts with a practice day for the truck series on Friday, followed by the Hauler Parade.

On Saturday, the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series is in action with the Alpha Energy Solutions 250. Following the race the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series will qualify for Sunday’s STP 500.

The STP 500 is the first Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Race on the East Coast, after the “West Coast Swing” and the first short-track race of the season. Last year, Brad Keselowski won the race, becoming the first driver to win in a Ford at Martinsville since 2002.

Tickets to both races are on sale and may be purchased by calling 877.RACE.TIX or online at www.martinsvillespeedway.com.
