Fun Opportunities for Race Fans to Support New England Children in Need

 NASCAR weekend at “The Magic Mile” is all about fast cars and passionate fans, but it’s also about New England race fans coming together to support kids in need throughout the region. The New Hampshire Chapter of Speedway Children’s Charities (SCCNH), the official charity of New Hampshire Motor Speedway (NHMS), has lots of fun ways for fans to make unforgettable memories while also making a difference.

“Race weekend is jam-packed with a variety of fun ways race fans can help local kids in need,” said Speedway Children’s Charities New Hampshire Chapter Director and New Hampshire Motor Speedway Director of Marketing Danielle Cyr. “We look forward to raising lots of money for children’s organizations throughout New England to help as many children as possible this year.”

50/50 Raffle | Friday, June 7 – Sunday, June 23

Don’t miss your chance to win big this year with the fourth annual 50/50 Raffle. Tickets will be sold in person during Motorcycle Week at NHMS (June 8-15), during SIG SAUER Academy Dirt Duels at The Flat Track on Friday, June 21 and at the tent between the Concord and Main Grandstands Saturday and Sunday, June 22-23. Tickets are currently being sold online. All ticket sales end at the conclusion of stage two of the USA TODAY 301 NCS race on Sunday, June 23. The winner of half of the jackpot will be announced during stage three of the USA TODAY 301. The other half goes directly to SCCNH. 

Online Auction | Saturday, June 8 – Thursday, June 20

Race fans can bid on once-in-a-lifetime NASCAR weekend experiences in the Online Auction now through Thursday, June 20. Experiences up for bid include:

  • Wave the green flag for NASCAR Xfinity Series qualifying (Friday)
  • Wave the green flag for NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour qualifying (Friday)
  • Wave the green flag for NASCAR Cup Series qualifying (Saturday)
  • Victory lane experience for the SciAps 200 NXS race (Saturday)
  • Hot laps in the Official Toyota Camry XSE pace car (Sunday)

Laps for Charity presented by NBT Bank | Thursday, June 20

Laps for Charity presented by NBT Bank is the chance to experience the thrill of driving a personal vehicle or riding in the official NHMS Toyota Camry pace car on the historic 1.058-mile oval known as “The Magic Mile.” Group and VIP sessions are available with VIP sessions offering the opportunity to be the only vehicle on the racetrack with the pace car. Sign the Track Wall Banner | Friday and Saturday, June 21-22

Race fans can make their mark on the NASCAR Cup Series (NCS) race at NHMS. For just $5, fans can Sign the Track Wall Banner at the Track Treasures Shop in the gap between the Concord and Main Grandstands, Friday and Saturday, June 21-22. The banner will be placed on the racetrack wall Sunday morning for the USA TODAY 301.

Track Treasures Shop | Friday – Sunday, June 21-23

Race fans can purchase various mementos, NASCAR collectibles, one-of-a-kind autographed items, clothing, advertising banners and more at the Track Treasures Shop located in the gap between the Concord and Main Grandstands, Friday through Sunday, June 21-23.

Track Walk presented by NBT Bank | Saturday, June 22

Race fans can start their day with a one-lap walk around “The Magic Mile” with their family and friends led by NCS driver and New England native Ryan Preece from 8-9 a.m. on Saturday, June 22 before their favorite NASCAR drivers take to the track to battle it out for a chance to land in victory lane. Advance registration is required at SpeedwayCharities.orgfor $25 per person. Children 12 and under are free with a paid adult.

Cornhole Tournament | Saturday, June 22

The third annual Cornhole Tournament comes with a first-place prize of two VIP suite seats for Sunday’s USA TODAY 301 NCS race. Check-in and practice will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday, June 22, and NCS driver and New England native Kaz Grala will make an appearance to kick the tournament off at 10 a.m. Advance registration ($60 per two-person team) is suggested at Day-of registration will be $75 per two-person team.

Wicked Good Live Auction presented by PPG | Sunday, June 23

Fans can bid on a variety of unique NASCAR memorabilia from many of their favorite drivers during the Wicked Good Live Auction from 9:30-10:45 a.m. Sunday, June 23 on “The Magic Mile” Stage located just outside the infield tunnel. There will also be items from New England sports teams, local businesses and once-in-a-lifetime experiences.
