  • BELL ALL-STAR HISTORY: Christopher Bell will compete in his fourth NASCAR All-Star Race and his second All-Star event at North Wilkesboro Speedway. Last season at North Wilkesboro Speedway, Bell started seventh and finished 12th. Bell’s previous All-Star races were at Texas Motor Speedway in 2022 with a 10th-place finish and 2021 with an 11th-place finish.
  • PIT CREW CHALLENGE: The No. 20 pit crew heads into Friday night’s Pit Crew Challenge as the defending winners of the event. Last year, the team consisting of Derrell Edwards (Jackman), Mike Hicks (Rear Tire Changer), Jake Holmes (Tire Carrier), Blake Houston (Front Tire Changer) and Peyton Moore (Gasman) turned in a time of 13.012 seconds to win the $100,000 prize while pitting Joe Gibbs Racing’s No. 54 car for Ty Gibbs.
  • DARLINGTON RECAP: Bell qualified 12th and over the course of stage one struggled with a tight-handling car. The handling woes continued throughout stage two and the team continued to make multiple adjustments when they could to try and help with the handling. The team made small gains and Bell was able to leave Darlington with a 13th-place finish.
  • JGR ALL-STAR HISTORY: JGR owns two NASCAR All-Star Race victories. In 78 combined starts in the annual exhibition event, the organization has posted 26 top-five finishes, 46 top-10s, seven pole awards, and 454 laps led. Denny Hamlin (2015) and Kyle Busch (2017) are responsible for JGR’s two All-Star wins.
  • RACE INFO: The NASCAR All-Star Race at North Wilkesboro begins at 8:00 p.m. ET on Sunday, May 19, 2024. The race will be broadcast live on FS1, Sirius XM 90, and MRN Radio.

From the Cockpit:

Christopher Bell: “Last year at North Wilkesboro was very nostalgic with the old pavement, the old track and the place was completely packed, that was awesome. It’s going to feel a little bit different now with the repave and last years notes are going to be completely irrelevant, it’s basically going to be another new track for us. With the option tire as well, nobody knows what to expect. That’s going to make it really exciting and we’ll have to see what happens.”
