EuroNASCAR Management Group released today a penalty to NASCAR Whelen Euro Series driver Paul Jouffreau for the online incident involving him during the past week, in which the Frenchman used improper language towards a sim racing streamer on Twitch’s live streaming chat.

Jouffreau has been put under a two-year probation period through the 2025 NASCAR Whelen Euro Series season and received a 800€ fine to be paid immediately. The Frenchman will also have to participate in a sensitivity meeting at Vallelunga before the start of the event.

“Since the very beginning, EuroNASCAR has featured diversity and inclusivity among the top priorities in the series. We offer drivers from all over the world an open and welcoming environment, mixing many different cultures in a way that makes everyone feel at home. Therefore we do not accept such language in any form from anyone involved in the series,” said EuroNASCAR President – CEO Jerome Galpin.

Paul Jouffreau immediately took responsibility for his actions, he deeply regrets his mistakes and will put all his effort and dedication in being a role model at the track and outside.

The NASCAR GP Italy will take place on May 18-19 at the Autodromo di Vallelunga, in the vicinity of the country’s capital Rome.
