- HAMLIN AT TEXAS: Denny Hamlin is a three-time NASCAR Cup Series winner at Texas Motor Speedway after sweeping the track’s races in 2010 and capturing another victory in March 2019. Since the inception of the Next Gen car in 2022, Hamlin has posted finishes of 10th and fifth in two point-paying events at Texas and he finished second in the 2022 NASCAR All-Star Race at the 1.5-mile track.
- STARTING UP FRONT: The Chesterfield, Virginia native has started inside the top 10 in 10 consecutive races at Texas Motor Speedway dating back to November 2017.
- TOP OF THE BOARD: Hamlin leads the series in multiple statistical categories according to Loop Data provided by NASCAR. He is currently best in the series in average running position, driver rating, green flag speed, and laps in the top 15. He is also tied with Joe Gibbs Racing driver Martin Truex Jr. for the series lead in fastest laps run.
- LEADING IN 2024: Hamlin is the only driver to lead in all eight races this season. After leading 66 laps at Martinsville, the No. 11 driver ranks second overall with 358 laps led this season. He has led in 12 consecutive races dating back to last season.
- JGR AT TEXAS: Joe Gibbs Racing owns nine NASCAR Cup Series victories at Texas Motor Speedway. In 136 combined starts at the track, the organization has tallied 37 top-five finishes, 63 top-10s, five pole awards, and 2,229 laps led. Kyle Busch, Carl Edwards, and Tony Stewart join Hamlin on the list of drivers who have won for JGR at Texas Motor Speedway.

What do you need to do to be successful this weekend at Texas?
“Texas is typically pretty tough to pass on, so I feel like we will need to have a good qualifying spot and then just execute on pit road. My guys have done an amazing job on pit road this season, so we’ll definitely lean on them a little bit to help gain or just maintain track position and then we’ll need to have the right strategy to be up front at the end.”
