Phoenix Raceway, American Medical Response extend partnership

Today, Phoenix Raceway announced American Medical Response (AMR) has extended its partnership with the NASCAR-owned track and will remain the official event medical services provider at the raceway through the 2024 NASCAR season.

“Phoenix Raceway is so fortunate to be able to extend its partnership with AMR and continue to provide quick and efficient medical response to everyone on property,” said President of Phoenix Raceway Latasha Causey. “Knowing that we have a great team of paramedics, EMTs and RNs on-site for our busiest weekends is so comforting.”

American Medical Response is a proud provider of emergency medical services to communities throughout the state of Arizona. They employ more than 1,500 paramedics, EMTs, RNs and other professionals throughout Arizona. The 28,000 employees nationwide work to provide care in 40 states and the District of Columbia. Fans can count on AMR and its medical team as they provide medical coverage to spectators, track personnel and drivers on all race weekends. 

AMR is also the largest provider of emergency medical transportation services in the United States and a leader in pre-hospital care and treatment. Since 2017, AMR has been the Official Emergency Medical Services Partner of NASCAR and continues to provide doctors and paramedics to the on-track safety team for each NASCAR Cup Series weekend. The AMR team along with NASCAR Track Services team members, provide immediate response and care to on-track incidents.

Race fans will flock to Phoenix Raceway for NASCAR Championship Weekend, Nov. 3-5. It beings Friday, Nov. 3 with an action-packed doubleheader involving the ARCA Menards Series West Championship Race, the Desert Diamond Casino West Valley 100, and the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series Championship.

The excitement continues, Saturday, Nov. 4 when the green flag flies for the NASCAR Xfinity Series Championship Race. Then on Sunday, Nov. 5 the stars of the NASCAR Cup Series will battle for the Bill France Cup in the NASCAR Cup Series Championship Race.
