Justin Ashley Racing Tightens Up Sponsorship With KATO Fastening Systems

Justin Ashley Racing

In advance of his second season behind the wheel of the Strutmasters.com/Auto Shocker Top Fuel dragster Justin Ashley  is extending his relationship with KATO Fastening Systems. Following a successful rookie season that saw Ashley win his first Top Fuel NHRA national event and earn NHRA Rookie of the Year honors, the young driver is building on successful sponsorship opportunities. Looking ahead to 2021, KATO Fastening Systems will continue to utilize their NHRA relationship to promote their diverse line-up of fastening systems with a primary focus on LockOne, a revolutionary positive locking fastener designed to prevent a standard nut from loosening free under vibration.

“Working with KATO Fastening Systems has been a privilege,” said Ashley. “KATO’s LockOne was tested in accordance with National Aerospace Standard NAS3350 for impact vibration testing and specifically designed to withstand a bolt from loosening under intense vibration. There’s no better testament to that than a Top Fuel Dragster. I am looking forward to continuing to show the NHRA community the amazing power of KATO and LockOne!”

During the 2021 NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series KATO and LockOne will be branded on the Strutmasters.com/Auto Shocker Top Fuel dragster on each side of the top of the canopy and the front of the rear wing for exceptional visibility.

“KATO is thrilled to be working with Justin and the entire Justin Ashley Racing team again for 2021. Last year was our inaugural year with JAR and NHRA,” said Al Qaqish, KATO Fastening Systems president. “We were very pleased with the results of our partnership, which were beyond our expectations. Justin and Rich Bailey were a pleasure to deal with, very professional and always cognizant of our goals. It was really awesome to be associated with JAR and watch Justin win his first race and rookie of the year title. As a sponsor you can’t ask for more.”

“Justin is an excellent ambassador for KATO and I can’t think of another NHRA driver I would rather partner with. 2020 was a challenge for all the teams, drivers and their sponsors. Justin did an amazing job keeping sponsors in the spotlight and building brand recognition. For 2021 we both have lofty goals and working together I am confident we will achieve them,” added Qaqish.
