The No. 72 team of TriStar Motorsports will head to Long Pond, PA this weekend for the Pocono 400 where Cole Whitt returns as the driver of the No. 72 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series (MENCS) entry at Pocono Raceway. The independently owned track is located in the heart of the Pocono Mountains. Its unique shape qualifies it as the only triangle course on the NASCAR circuit and is famed as the “Tricky Triangle”. Being familiar with the unique format, Whitt has eight previous MENCS starts completing 1,243 laps with a best finish of 21st. Whitt and the No. 72 team travel north in hopes of tricking the triangle and clinching a solid finish.
