After a two week break, Garrett Smithley is ready to be back at one of his favorite tracks, Charlotte Motor Speedway (CMS).
The Federation for Advanced Manufacturing Education (FAME) will once again be on board Smithley’s No. 0 JD Motorsports with Gary Keller Chevrolet Camaro for Saturday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series Alsco 300.
“I love racing at Charlotte Motor Speedway,” said Smithley. “This track feels like home to me because of all of the laps I have from driving the Petty Experience cars there, and I finished in the top-15 in my first race there in 2016. I think this will be a great weekend for me and FAME.”
NASCAR Xfinity Series practice at Charlotte Motor Speedway is scheduled for 4:05 p.m. and 6:05 p.m. (ET) Thursday. Qualifying will start at 10:10 a.m. on Saturday, and the Alsco 300 will get the green flag at 1:00 p.m. (ET) on FS1.
