‘600 Ale’ Soars onto Store Shelves Beginning Friday

The first officially licensed beer in Charlotte Motor Speedway history is ready to zoom into homes and provide race fans with “A Taste of the Race.” Cans of “600 Ale” – an American Ale first produced by Cabarrus Brewing Company – will hit Charlotte-area store shelves beginning Friday.

The beer will be available in four-packs of 16-ounce cans. A popular choice among fans in May, 600 Ale provides fans with the ultimate tailgating beer for the Oct. 6-8 Bank of America 500 – NASCAR’s homecoming showcase.

“We at the Cabarrus Brewing Company are both thrilled and proud to see the 600 Ale now available on local retailers’ shelves and in local restaurants and hotels,” said Steve Steinbacher, the founder of Cabarrus Brewing Company. “We’re thankful not only for the beer itself but equally for the opportunity to showcase and promote what makes this community so special, and that is Charlotte Motor Speedway. The speedway is very important and it’s a huge part of making this area unique and the great place it is to live, work and play.”

The 600 Ale will also be available at concession stands throughout Bank of America 500 race weekend.
