Looking for a Breakthrough … Daniel Dye heads to Phoenix Raceway for the season finale of the 2024 NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series (NCTS) campaign. The driver of the No. 43 NAPA Nightvision Chevrolet Silverado RST looks to finish off an impressive stint with the MHR organization with a win at the 1.0-mile tri oval in Avondale, Ariz. With one race left in hand, Dye sits ninth in the championship points and will capture his career-best finish in the standings.

Playoff Run… Dye’s journey to his first career playoff appearance was nothing short of historic. Entering the season finale, he was just one position outside of a playoff spot. With a determined 42-point performance, he not only secured a playoff berth but also made history as the first driver in NCTS history to race his way into a playoff position in the final regular season race. He carried the momentum into the postseason, starting strong with an eighth-place finish at The Milwaukee Mile, which pushed him into contention within the playoff bubble. Dye finished his first NCTS playoff appearance ninth in the point standings after coming up just shy from the Round of 8.

2024 Season Stats … In his second NCTS season, Dye has shown significant improvement compared to his rookie campaign. This year, he posted nine top-10 finishes, two top-fives, and earned a pole award, while also improving his average finish to 15.8. Heading into the 2024 season, his career best result with the NCTS was a sixth-place finish at Talladega Superspeedway. Dye was able to best that with a standout performance this season with a runner-up finish at Nashville Superspeedway. He also made team history by contributing to MHR’s second one-two finish, and posted a third-place finish at Talladega last month.

Tune In … The 2024 season finale for the NCTS will kick off practice on Thursday. Friday afternoon will begin qualifying at 4:00 p.m. ET on FOX Sports 2. The final green flag of the year will wave at 8:00 p.m. ET on FOX Sports 1.
