World of Outlaws World Finals Can’t-Miss Attractions

 All dirt roads lead to Charlotte as fans from across the U.S. and four foreign countries gather for the thrilling return of the World of Outlaws World Finals, this Wednesday through Saturday, at The Dirt Track at Charlotte. Prepare for an exhilarating four days of non-stop racing guaranteed to keep fans on the edge of their seat as the biggest stars in dirt racing battle for victory in a championship-deciding series finale.

With tight points battles across all three divisions, fans are in for an action-packed showdown. But the excitement doesn’t stop there, as there are plenty of off-track activities to make the biggest dirt racing event of the year even more memorable.

Here’s a look at the top five can’t-miss attractions that this year’s World of Outlaws World Finals a can’t-miss event this weekend:

Hauler Parade: On Tuesday night, fans will welcome their favorite drivers during the fan-friendly Hauler Parade. Haulers for some of the biggest names in dirt racing will roll from the campgrounds to the pits in an electric procession. Kicking off at 4 p.m. and free to watch, this fun-filled evening sets the stage for an incredible four days of racing.

Fan Fest: On Wednesday, the Dirt Track’s four-tenths-mile clay oval takes center stage for opening qualifying sessions, but not before fans gear up for the weekend at Fan Fest, featuring live music, driver appearances and more, at the Sage Fruit Stage. Hailing from nearby Shelby, North Carolina, local band Dirty Grass Soul will ignite the celebration starting at noon with country, bluegrass and southern rock. Race Day Live begins Wednesday at 3:15 p.m., offering fans a chance to hear from top drivers and discuss all things dirt. Race Day Live will continue daily with shows from 2:30-3:00 p.m. on Thursday and Friday and 1:30-2:30 p.m. on Saturday.

3×4-Wide Salute: Experience the greatest spectacle in dirt racing as the legendary 3×4-wide salute returns Friday, as drivers from all three series take to the track, four-wide, in a stunning tribute for fans. With fireworks lighting up the sky, and almost 200 roaring vehicles, this spectacular display sets the perfect stage for a night filled with hair-raising on-track features. In a truly magical display, the 3×4 salute is the only time during the year that dirt racing’s three biggest series – the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series, World of Outlaws Case Construction Late Models and the Super DIRTcar Series – will all hit the track at the same time.

National Sprint Car Hall of Fame Auction: Saturday at 11 a.m., the z-MAX Dragway Pavilion will host the annual World Finals Auction, benefiting the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame & Museum, the Dirt Late Model Hall of Fame and Northwest Dirt Modified Hall of Fame. Fans are invited to join auctioneer Larry Boos for a chance to bid on one-of-a-kind racing memorabilia like autograph car bodies, figurines, photos, artwork and more, come prepared to bid on unique finds from drivers you know and love.

Championship Celebrations: After 295 green flag laps of dirt-flying, heart-pounding A-main racing, it all comes down to Saturday night. With some of the tightest points battles in recent years across all three divisions, the stakes have never been higher. As the final three checkered flags drop and the dust settles, the championship celebration will begin as three drivers will emerge to claim their crowns capping off an unforgettable World Finals weekend.
