Back to the Paperclip… Daniel Dye is heading back to Ridgeway Va. for the second to last event in the 2024 NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series (NCTS) season. The driver of the No. 43 Champion Container Chevrolet Silverado RST is coming off an impressive seventh-place finish in his home state at Homestead-Miami Speedway (HMS). Dye’s result helped him score his ninth top-10 and marks the third time this season he has scored back-to-back finishes.

Race For the Clock… Dye has continued to improve at the majority of tracks in his sophomore season. After picking up track-best finishes at Talladega Superspeedway and HMS a week ago he has improved his finishes at 13 different venues. Dye’s ability to better previous results show within his average finish of 15.0, which is more than five positions higher than his rookie season. In April, Dye bested his previous best finish at Martinsville after crossing the line in 13th position. The Daytona Beach native will look to double up and beat that once again this weekend.

Short Track Season Stats … Martinsville marks the conclusion of the seven short track races of the 2024 season. In the previous six events, Dye has finished 13th or better on four occasions, including two top-10 finishes at North Wilkesboro Speedway and playoff clinching race at Richmond Raceway. The 20-year-old driver is now aiming to close out this year’s short track races with his first-career NCTS victory.

Tune In … FOX Sports 2 will start the action from Martinsville beginning at 1:30 p.m. ET with practice and qualifying, followed by the green flag at 6:00 p.m. ET on FOX Sports 1.
