The 13th official NASCAR season in Europe ended with a blast at Circuit Zolder in Belgium. Vittorio Ghirelli clinched the European NASCAR crown in EuroNASCAR PRO in front of 16,500 fans at the legendary track in the woods of Limburg. Martin Doubek wrote history as he became the first two-time EuroNASCAR 2 Champion. 570,000 impressions underlined the rich interest for the title decider of the best touring car series on the Old Continent. 360,000 minutes watched on EuroNASCAR’s free to watch YouTube stream confirmed the excitement the series brings to NASCAR fans all around the world.

Since 2012, NASCAR has been officially involved in Europe by sanctioning the championship founded and organized by TEAM FJ. EuroNASCAR president and CEO Jerome Galpin and his team took the right path to make EuroNASCAR the most cost-effective racing series in Europe for teams as well as drivers and to engage with hundreds of thousands of fans who follow the action on track or on social media. The growth has not stopped and the series celebrated another season full of action and American themed entertainment for the whole family.

Circuit Zolder has been a crucial part of the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series schedule since 2015 and again provided a mega show at one of the most iconic race tracks in Europe. 32,000 engagements on social media and 46,000 YouTube video views rounded out another thrilling EuroNASCAR final weekend. Racing stars are born in EuroNASCAR and with the openness for fans in the paddock, the spectators were not only able to watch tremendous door-to-door battles on track but also to meet their heroes during the Grid Walks and Garage Walks. In addition, there are no limitations for the fans to meet the drivers in the team’s hospitalities or pit boxes. Among the many attractions in the paddock, the fans particularly enjoyed the celebration for the 60th anniversary of the iconic Ford Mustang.

“We are very happy with the 2024 season as we saw great battles throughout the year,” said EuroNASCAR President Galpin at Circuit Zolder. “We had great events in all countries. We could not be happier with the season. My focus is already shifting to the 2025 season for the next six months as we have a lot of exciting things coming up. We celebrated with the teams and drivers at Circuit Zolder. We will be attending the NASCAR Banquet in Charlotte to honor the best drivers in NASCAR – both from the U.S. and Europe. Our drivers will be inducted into the NASCAR Hall of Fame. We have big news for 2025 coming and we are ready to roll!”

The show will continue in 2025 at seven of the best tracks in Europe. The calendar features seven events in seven different countries and a consistent program as the track partners in Spain, Italy, UK, Netherlands, Czech Republic, Germany and Belgium work hard to host unique festivals of speed and family entertainment.

Join the party and become part of Europe’s official NASCAR Series in the 2025 season that kicks off on April 12-13 at Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia. Vallelunga follows on May 17-18, then the series visits Brands Hatch on June 7-8. The only oval race of the season takes place on June 28-29 at Raceway Venray. The regular season closes after summer break on August 30-31 at Autodrom Most. The 2025 playoffs begin at Motorsport Arena Oschersleben on September 11-12, while the EuroNASCAR Finals close the season on October 11-12 at Circuit Zolder.
