Harrison Burton and the No. 21 Motorcraft/Quick Lane Mustang Dark Horse are set to start 16th in Sunday’s Ambetter Health 400 at Atlanta Motor Speedway.
Burton earned that spot with a lap at 176.577 miles per hour around Atlanta’ 1.54-mile quad-oval on Saturday.
There was no practice prior to or after qualifying this weekend, other than a brief session to allow drivers to familiarize themselves with the pit road entrance.
Sunday’s race will be Burton’s fifth at Atlanta in a Cup car. His Wood Brothers team will be making its 114th start at Atlanta. Twelve of those starts resulted in victories, which places the team second on the all-time win list at Atlanta.
The 260-lap, 400-mile race is expected to get the green flag just after 3 p.m. Eastern Time, with TV coverage on FOX.
Stage breaks are planned for Laps 60 and 160.
