ARCA Menards Series West at Evergreen Speedway: NAPA Auto Parts ARCA 150 Pre-race Notes

  • The NAPA Auto Parts ARCA 150 is set to be the eighth of 12 races for the ARCA Menards Series West in 2023. It will be the 61st time the ARCA Menards Series West has raced at Evergreen Speedway.  
  • Landen Lewis enters the NAPA Auto Parts ARCA 150 with a seven-point lead in the ARCA Menards Series West championship standings over Sean Hingorani in second. Trevor Huddleston, who won at Evergreen in 2019, is third just 21 points out of the lead.  
  • Tanner Reif is the defending winner of the NAPA Auto Parts ARCA 150. Reif won last year driving for now-retired team owner Bob Bruncati; he has transitioned into the Bill McAnally Racing team in 2023.  
  • Hingorani heads into the NAPA Auto Parts ARCA 150 looking for his series-leading fourth win of 2023; he scored wins at Irwindale Speedway and Kern County Raceway in March and April and won the most recent West race at Shasta Speedway three weeks ago.  
  • Tyler Reif, who won the season opener at Phoenix Raceway – a combination race with the ARCA Menards Series – will make his second start in Todd and Kelly Souza’s No. 13 Ford. Reif is fifth in the West championship standings, 31 points out of the lead and just seven points ahead of his older brother Tanner in sixth.

  • The record for the most lead changes in a 150-lap race at Evergreen Speedway is seven, set in 2013. Both Todd Gilliland and Chris Eggleston led the entire distance to win in both 2016 and 2017.  
  • The record for the most cautions in a 150-lap ARCA Menards Series West race at Evergreen Speedway is six for a record 29 laps in 2016. The fewest cautions and laps, 2 for 10 laps, was in 2008.  
  • Should the race need to be extended into overtime, there will be unlimited attempts at a two-lap “green-white-checkered” finish. Should the caution flag be displayed after the white flag is displayed, there will be unlimited attempts at a one-lap “green and white together” finish.
