- ARCA Menards Series championship leader Jesse Love scored his sixth win of 2023 and second consecutive victory with his win in the Henry Ford Health 200 at Michigan International Speedway. It was Love’s eighth career ARCA Menards Series win and moves him into a tie for 46th on the series’ all-time win list. Others with eight career ARCA Menards Series wins include Jack Shanklin, Charlie Glotzbach, Dave Dayton, Davey Allison, Jimmy Horton, Jeff Purvis, Chad Blount, Justin Allgaier, Austin Theriault, and Brandon Jones.
- Love stretched his lead in the series standings to 82 points over Frankie Muniz, who retook the second position with a career-best fifth-place result.
- Muniz earned his first career top-five finish after a brush with another car flattened his right front tire, sending him into the turn three wall. Muniz made multiple pit stops for repairs and worked his way back through the field despite damage to the right side of his car.
- Gus Dean finished second to earn his 20th career top-five finish in the ARCA Menards Series. Dean led a total of 18 laps and was in contention for the victory despite a brush with the wall after contact racing for the lead with Connor Mosack on lap 19.
- Mosack finished third to earn his fourth top-five finish in five starts so far in 2023. Mosack was also one of the race’s four leaders, pacing the field for a total of nine laps.
- Andy Jankowiak scored his best career ARCA Menards Series finish in fourth, bettering his fifth-place finish at Charlotte in May.
- Andres Perez was the dominant force of the day, driving the same car that reigning series champion Nick Sanchez drove to victory last year. Perez started from the General Tire Pole for the first time in his career and led a race-high 43 laps before mechanical problems ended his day while leading with just nine laps remaining.
- Andy Hillenburg’s Fast Track High Performance Racing Team placed three cars among the top ten finishers: Morgen Baird finished a career-best sixth, Gage Rodgers placed a career-best ninth, and Jon Garrett matched his career-best in tenth.
- The race’s 12 lead changes was just one shy of tying the series record for most lead changes in an ARCA Menards Series race at Michigan International Speedway, set in June 2005. Last year’s Michigan race featured 11 lead changes.
- The next for the ARCA Menards Series is the Reese’s 200 at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park on Friday, August 11. The race will be a combination race with the ARCA Menards Series East and will pay full championship points for both series. The race will be televised live on FS1 starting at 6 pm ET and will be broadcast on select affiliates of the MRN Radio network nationwide.
