We wanted to make you aware of a rule book update to the Damaged Vehicle Policy (DVP) that was just issued. Starting with Darlington, teams will now have 10 minutes on pit road to repair damage. Previously, the DVP clock was six (6) minutes. This adjustment is in collaboration with race teams throughout the season following learnings on repair time of the Next Gen race car.

In addition, a reminder to how the qualifying order is set for the Playoffs (not a rule book update):

Qualifying Order

1) The Playoff Teams (Owner and Driver) will be ordered by their previous race metrics and be assigned to Group A or B by the usual odd / even metric procedures

2) The Playoff Teams (Owner and Driver) will be the final cars to go in their assigned Groups

3) Transferring to the Final Round and order of the Final Round are unchanged.
