No. 20 Mobil 1 Toyota Camry XSE News and Notes
- BELL AT MARTINSVILLE: Christopher Bell came in clutch under pressure in 2022 leading 150 laps and taking home the win at Martinsville Speedway to secure his first Championship 4 appearance. Overall, he has posted three top-10 finishes in nine NASCAR Cup Series starts at the .526-mile oval. Prior to his time in the Cup Series, Bell earned a pair of top-five finishes and three top-10s in four NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series starts at Martinsville.
- CAREER YEAR: With two races still remaining, 2024 has seen Bell set career-bests for top-five finishes (14), top-10s (22), and laps led (1,002). His 14 top-five finishes and 22 top-10s lead all drivers, while his 11 stage wins, and 1,002 laps led both rank second overall. The No. 20 driver has been on a roll in the playoffs with five top-five finishes and seven top-10s in eight races – both lead all drivers. He has finished seventh or better in nine of the last 10 races dating back to the series’ visit to Daytona in August.
- ROUND OF 8 WINS: Bell has won a Round of 8 race in each of the past two seasons. In 2022, he led 150 laps on the way to victory lane at Martinsville Speedway. Last year, Bell won at Homestead-Miami Speedway to secure his spot in the championship race.
- ADAM STEVENS: This marks the eighth time crew chief Adam Stevens has led his team to the Round of 8. Each of the first seven times, including the past two years with Bell, Stevens’ team went on to advance to the Championship 4.
- JGR AT MARTINSVILLE: Joe Gibbs Racing owns 14 NASCAR Cup Series victories at Martinsville Speedway. In 174 combined starts at the track, the organization has tallied 59 top-five finishes, 90 top-10s, six pole awards, and 6,769 laps led.

From the Cockpit:
Christopher Bell: “Martinsville is a driver’s racetrack, and you aren’t going to be good there unless you are a good racecar driver, it’s pretty hard to fake your way around it. The race is extremely long, so you have to be good at all the parts of the sport, you have to execute pit road, you have to be able to get in and out of your pit box, you have to run your pit road lights through the corners at Martinsville, it tests every ability that you have as a driver.”
