Home Sweet Home… Daniel Dye returns to his home state to compete at Homestead-Miami Speedway (HMS). The driver of the No. 43 Guiseppe’s Pizza, Martech Services Company Chevrolet Silverado RST is fresh off a third-place finish at Talladega Superspeedway, the second-best result of his sophomore season. During the break from the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series (NCTS), he competed in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, where he earned a solid 12th-place finish last week at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Dye .

More Than a Mile…The Daytona Beach native has been a strong contender in qualifying on 1.5-mile ovals this season. In seven races at 1.5-mile tracks, he has earned six top-10 starting positions. His best start came with a pole award in the second event of the season at Atlanta Motor Speedway. The speed from qualifying has translated into results on raceday with four top-10 finishes at 1.5-mile tracks this year. Additionally, the second-year driver recorded his career-best second-place finish at Nashville Superspeedway, a similar 1.33-mile intermediate oval.

Up There… Although Dye is no longer in the hunt for the championship title, his performance has been on par with many of the frontrunners in the NCTS. In his second full-time season, he has not only improved in several key categories but has also posted stats comparable to the remaining playoff contenders. With an average starting position of 13.0, he ranks 11th among NCTS competitors. Additionally, Dye holds the 10th-best average finish and currently has the ninth-most top-10 finishes with eight.

On his expectations for the rest of the season:

“Really looking forward to getting down to Homestead again and driving our special Pittsburgh-themed No. 43 Silverado. It’s a fun track to race at and hopefully we can put our Giuseppe’s Chevy at the front and compete for the win.”
