Phoenix Raceway President Latasha Causey unveiled the Official Countdown Clock for NASCAR Championship Weekend on Wednesday at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. The clock will greet thousands of NASCAR fans traveling through Terminal 4 en route to Phoenix Raceway for the culmination of the 2024 NASCAR season.

Causey was joined by Phoenix Mayor Kate Gallego, City of Avondale Councilmember Max White, Arizona Office of Tourism Public Information Officer Josh Coddington, Sky Harbor Aviation Director Chad Makovsky and Visit Phoenix President & CEO Ron Price for Wednesday’s event in Terminal 4. The clock is located on Level 1 of the terminal’s west end and will be on display through NASCAR Championship Weekend at Phoenix Raceway, Nov. 8-10.

“The excitement for NASCAR Championship Weekend continues building with each passing second,” Causey said. “We are looking forward to welcoming all of the fans traveling to Phoenix Raceway for this amazing event and introducing travelers who aren’t NASCAR fans to the most heart-pounding, exciting sporting event our community has to offer.”

NASCAR returns to Phoenix Raceway Nov. 8-10 for NASCAR Championship Weekend. It will feature four championship races over three days. The action begins Friday, Nov. 8, with the ARCA Menards Series West and NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series Championship races, followed by the NASCAR Xfinity Series Championship Race on Saturday, Nov. 9. Then on Sunday, Nov. 10, the 2024 NASCAR season comes to a thrilling conclusion in the NASCAR Cup Series Championship Race as the sport’s top drivers battle for the Bill France Cup.

Grandstand tickets for the NASCAR Cup Series Championship Race are sold out, but a scant number of Hillside and Infield General Admission tickets remain. Tickets are also going fast for Friday and Saturday’s action, so fans are encouraged to visit www.phoenixraceway.com to secure their tickets while supplies last.
