- Fell to No. 18 provisional qualifying position based off of Friday’s Q2 run. In Q3 on Saturday, Stewart ran a 5.076 ET at 142.36 mph.
- Secured No. 15 qualifying position in Q4 on Saturday (3.816 ET at 327.25 mph)
- Eliminated following Round 1 on Sunday:
- Round 1: 3.817 ET at 329.96 mph, lost to Shawn Reed (3.753 ET at 318.97 mph)
- Currently 10th in the Top Fuel championship standings, 241 points behind leader Justin Ashley
- Hagan earned back-to-back wins at the Texas NHRA FallNationals. In 2023, Hagan won TSR’s first double-up victory with Leah Pruett.
- Hagan earned his fifth win at Texas Motorplex and his third win of the 2024 season. His previous wins at Dallas came in 2010, 2015, 2019 and 2024. It marked the 52nd win of his career and moved him from fifth to third in the Funny Car championship standings.
- Hagan has advanced to the Final round each of the last six years at the Texas Motorplex near Dallas. He has appeared in more final rounds in the Texas NHRA FallNationals than in any other event in the NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series (nine times in 16 appearances).
- Hagan’s victory marked the first for partner Johnson’s Horsepowered Garage (JHG). JHG was formed in 2021 and brings a passion and flare to the automotive world. They aim to inspire, drive and celebrate progress. JHG spans across Jason Johnson’s car collection featuring more than 200 sought after vehicles from classics, to hot rods and supercars. Johnson’s Horsepowered Garage’s mission is to preserve and showcase the automotive industry.
- Stewart represented Mobil 1’s 50th Anniversary on his black and gold Top Fuel Dragster for their second race as primary sponsor this season (Pomona was the first race).

“This win was really special. We’re trying to build great relationships with our partners. We have really great partners with Dodge in our Hellcat Funny Car. I’ve been with them almost 15 years and won four championships with them. We had JHG on the car and had Andy Ross from American Rebel at the race. He got to headline at Fan Fest and perform there to kick off the weekend. It’s all about building relationships. Jason (Johnson – JHG) has been a big supporter of ours, even back to the DSR days. He believes in us and pushes us forward. I was on the chip and chewing on my mouthpiece. I love (Ron) Capps, but I was ready to cut his head off. I’m just like ‘Let’s Go.’ You feel like you’re going in like a gladiator. This is kind of like rodeo stuff. You get in this crazy machine and you never know what it’s going to do. The next event on the NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series schedule is the NHRA Nationals Oct. 31-Nov. 3 at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. It is the fifth event in the Countdown to the Championship and the second-to-last race of the season.
