Bristol Motor Speedway will open its Medallion Campground beginning at 6 p.m. Friday evening free-of-charge for evacuees seeking refuge from Hurricane Helene, which is bringing high winds, heavy rain and flooding to the Southeast region. The speedway’s Medallion campground is located off Hwy 394 just minutes off of Interstate 81.
Medallion Campground – Entrance No. 3 – 105 Medallion Drive, Bristol, TN 37620. Take an immediate right turn once you’ve entered the Dragway Entrance, and Medallion Campground will be the first campground on the left. Look for the Geico Medallion Campground sign. Check-in via the QR code posted and park. Speedway Officials will check-in the following day. Evacuees will have access to bathhouse facilities on speedway property.
