The NASCAR GP Czech Republic witnessed the continuation of the 2024 NASCAR Whelen Euro Series season after drivers and teams recharged their batteries during the summer break. This included the regularity based competition Club Challenge, which returned to the track for the first time since Round 2 at Autodromo di Vallelunga in Italy. Consistency was the key for Team Bleekemolen’s rookie Reza Sardeha to clinch his first victory in the division, just marginally ahead of Bruno Costa after two sessions at the 4.212-kilometer Autodrom Most.

Costa topped the timesheets in the first timed session, but Sardeha was not that far behind and the Dutchman took the lead in the second session. While both drivers were tied on points and earned the bonus points for choosing the faster reference time, Sardeha was declared as the winner as he topped the second session that was run exclusively for the Club Challenge competitors. Kelvin Hassell completed the podium, the first for the British driver.

Club Challenge veteran Federico Monti was fourth ahead of Gordon Barnes, who was hindered by a technical issue in the first session. Club Challenge debutant Vanessa Neumann, who aspired to make a full-time debut in 2025, was sixth on her debut with 3F Racing. Dani Briz, Edouard Fatio, Andreas Kuchelbacher and RDV Competition owner Frank Violas rounded out the top-10 positions.

The results from Most have made the overall battle exciting as Barnes and Sardeha are now level on the points lead with 210 points to their name. Monti and Costa trailed by just two and three points respectively while a tough round for Kuchelbacher and Fatio relegated them to fifth and sixth. Hassell, Briz, Yann Schar, Neumann, Mario Buscemi and Violas complete the standings. The action now shifts to the EuroNASCAR PRO and EuroNASCAR 2 drivers, who will complete their two free practice sessions. All qualifying sessions and races from the event will be broadcast live on EuroNASCAR’s YouTube channel and numerous TV channels around the world.
