Dairyland Debut … Jack Wood is set to make his debut in America’s Dairyland on Sunday afternoon as he tackles The Milwaukee Mile for the first time in his NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Trucks Series (NCTS) career. A rare Sunday matinee marks the 10th NCTS start of the season for the driver of the No. 91 High Fives Foundation, GoPro Chevrolet Silverado RST. Wood returns to the No. 91 team after crisscrossing the country over six of the last eight weeks between the NCTS and ARCA Menards Series West (AMSW).

Hitting His Stride … Wood seems to be hitting his stride as he has posted two podium finishes in the last three AMSW races, along with his second-best NCTS result of the season at Indianapolis Raceway Park (IRP) on July 19th. The Californian brought home a 15th-place finish in the “Circle City” in his most recent NCTS appearance and captured a third-place result at Tri-City Raceway in the AMSW on August 10th. His performance on tracks one-mile and shorter has steadily improved this season and has showcased two top-15 results in NCTS competition at IRP and North Wilkesboro Speedway.

Season to Date … Entering Milwaukee, the No. 91 team led by crew chief Kevin Bellicourt resides 13th in the NCTS owners’ point standings. The group can mathematically finish as high as 11th in the standings during the seven-race playoff by season’s end. The group most recently finished 10th at Richmond Raceway when Connor Hall made his NCTS debut. Wood, Hall, Zane Smith, and Vicente Salas have shared the driving duties over 16 races to combine for three top-five’s, five top-10’s, and eight top-15 results this season.

Tune In … Coverage from The Milwaukee Mile begins on Sunday afternoon at 4:00 p.m. ET with the green flag on FOX Sports 1. Stay connected with the No. 91 High Fives Foundation team by following @BMR_NASCAR on Twitter, @bmrnascar on Instagram, and Bill McAnally Racing on Facebook.

Jack Wood Quote:

On making his first appearance at Milwaukee:

“Milwaukee seems to be a lot different than some of the other mile-tracks that we’ve run, like Phoenix. It’s incredibly flat and having a truck that consistently rotates is going to be really important on Sunday. It’s a quick 20 minutes in practice to get used to the place, so I’m looking forward to the challenge and turning laps for the first time. I feel like we’ve improved throughout the year on the short tracks, so hopefully we can keep that going on Sunday with our High Fives Foundation, GoPro Chevrolet.”
