- Tyler Reif (No. 13 Central Coast Cabinets Toyota) swept the day at Shasta Speedway; he was quickest in practice, turned the fastest lap in General Tire Pole Qualifying and led every lap on his way to his first ARCA Menards Series West win of 2024. It was Reif’s second career series victory; he also won the 2023 season opener at Phoenix Raceway, a combination race with the ARCA Menards Series. The win was also the first for team owners Todd and Kelly Souza since Todd’s victory at Utah Motorsports Campus in 2008, 117 starts ago.
- Reigning ARCA Menards Series West champion Sean Hingorani (No. 5 Fidelity Capital Toyota) qualified second and finished second.
- Reif assumed the unofficial ARCA Menards Series West championship points lead over Hingorani by five points with his victory at Shasta. Both drivers have finished among the top five in six of the series’ seven races so far in 2024.
- Trevor Huddleston (No. 50 High Point Racing/Racecar Factory Ford) finished third, his third top-five finish of the season and best result since he finished second at Kevin Harvick’s Kern Raceway in April.
- Derek Copeland (No. 80 Ward’s Concrete/SK Construction Toyota) finished fourth in his second career ARCA Menards Series West start; Copeland finished 17th in his West debut at Shasta Speedway in 2023.
- Kyle Keller (No. 12 Setting the Stage/Battle Born Ford) finished fifth, his first top-five result since he was fifth at Phoenix Raceway in March 2023, 17 races ago.
- Jack Wood (No. 16 NAPA Auto Parts Chevrolet) finished sixth; he is unofficially tied with Trevor Huddleston for third in the ARCA Menards Series West standings.
- Todd Souza (No. 3 Central Coast Cabinets Toyota) finished seventh, his fourth top-ten finish of the season.
- Nick Joanides (No. 71 Jan’s Towing Ford) finished eighth, Takuma Koga (No. 7 IKEDO Toyota), and David Smith (No. 05 Shockwave Marine Seating Toyota) finished tenth.
- The race ran caution free, the first caution-free race for the ARCA Menards Series West since the second part of the same-day doubleheader at Utah Motorsports Campus in 2020 won by Blaine Perkins.
- The next race for the ARCA Menards Series West is the NAPA Auto Care 150 at Tri-City Raceway on Saturday, August 10. The race will be streamed live on FloRacing starting at 10:30 pm ET/7:30 pm PT.
