- Won his third Mission #2Fast2Tasty Challenge at the 2023 Seattle event, which led to him being crowned the overall winner of the specialty race-within-a-race series during its inaugural season
- Partnered with the Muckleshoot Casino Resort as part of a week-long NHRA Northwest Nationals promotion
- The NAPA Funny Car and tow vehicle will carry Muckleshoot decals throughout the race weekend, and Capps will be hosting a group of Muckleshoot VIPs in the Ron Capps Motorsports Champions Club on Saturday

I was racing in Top Fuel at the time, and then to go back and win it in Funny Car years later was really cool. So many great memories for me in Seattle not only as a driver, but also a crew member and now as a team owner. We’ve got a wonderful group of NAPA Auto Parts people in the Pacific Northwest that always come out and we love hosting them. They come up from Portland and it’s always a full house, so we always look forward to getting back to that part of the country for the Northwest Nationals.”
