ARCA Menards Series West at Irwindale Speedway: NAPA Auto Parts 150 Presented by The West Coast Stock Car Motorsports Hall of Fame Pre-race Notes

  • The NAPA Auto Parts 150 Presented by The West Coast Stock Car Motorsports Hall of Fame at Irwindale Speedway will be the fifth race of 12 on the 2024 ARCA Menards Series West schedule. It will be the 35th ARCA Menards Series West race at Irwindale Speedway and paired with another series race on Saturday night, it will be the first of two races that will make up a weekend doubleheader at the track.
  • Tyler Reif (No. 13 Central Coast Cabinets Ford) leads the ARCA Menards Series West championship standings entering the NAPA Auto Parts 150 Presented by the West Coast Stock Car Motorsports Hall of Fame. He leads by eleven points over defending series champion Sean Hingorani (No. 15 Fidelity Capital Toyota). Hingorani earned the first of his four 2023 series wins at Irwindale Speedway last April. Reif finished eleventh in the season opener at Phoenix Raceway, and has not finished lower than fourth since.
  • Kole Raz (No. 5 Apache Rental Group / Jerry Pitts Racing Toyota) will make his first series start since winning at Kevin Harvick’s Kern Raceway in April.
  • Two-time West Series winner at Irwindale Raceway Trevor Huddleston (No. 50 High Point Racing / Racecar Factory Ford) will be looking for his first win of 2024; he is the all-time leading late model winner at Irwindale, which is managed and operated by his father Tim.
  • Bill McAnally Racing enters the NAPA Auto Parts 150 Presented by The West Coast Stock Car Motorsports Hall of Fame with 16 previous series wins at Irwindale Speedway. Jack Wood (No. 16 NAPA Auto Parts Chevrolet) is currently third in the series standings coming off his first top-five finish of the season in the most recent series race at Sonoma Raceway; he has one previous series start at Irwindale, in 2020, when he finished 15th. Teammate Eric Johnson, Jr. (No. 19 Pacific Office Automation Chevrolet) will be making his first series start at Irwindale.
  • Isabella Robusto (No. 55 Yahoo! Toyota) will make her fourth start of the 2024 season in the NAPA Auto Parts 150 Presented by The West Coast Stock Car Motorsports Hall of Fame. She finished sixth in her series debut at Phoenix Raceway, third at Portland International Raceway, and sixth at Sonoma Raceway. She finished second in her ARCA Menards Series East debut at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway.
  • Jake Finch (No. 20 Phoenix Construction Toyota), who won the ARCA Menards Series race at Talladega Superspeedway, will make his fourth career ARCA Menards Series West start and his second career start at Irwindale Speedway. He finished sixth at Irwindale in his West Series debut in 2022, to date his best career series finish.
  • Nineteen-year-old Jaron Giannini (No. 23 Versatile / SPS / GMS Fabrication Chevrolet) will make his ARCA Menards Series West debut on Thursday; he will be driving for the team that won the most recent West race at Sonoma Raceway with Sam Mayer driving.
  • Michael Killen (No. 9 Jan’s Towing Ford) will make his ARCA Menards Series West debut alongside teammate Nick Joanides (No. 71 Jan’s Towing Ford). Joanides has a season-best finish of fifth in April at Kevin Harvick’s Kern Raceway. Killen’s car will carry a tribute scheme to long-time ARCA Menards Series West team owner Bob Bruncati, who retired from competition following the 2022 season.

  • There will be no scheduled pit stops in the NAPA Auto Parts 150 Presented by The West Coast Stock Car Motorsports Hall of Fame. Teams will only stop for emergency repairs and/or tire changes. Teams will have four tires in their pit stall and any tire changes must be approved by an ARCA official.
  • Should the race need to be extended into overtime, there will be unlimited attempts at a two-lap “green-white-checkered” finish. If the caution is displayed after the white flag is displayed, there will be unlimited attempts at a one-lap “green and white together” finish.
