No. 20 Rheem Toyota Camry XSE News and Notes:

  • DOUBLE DUTY: In addition to competing in the NASCAR Cup Series race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway (NHMS), Christopher Bell will also race the No. 20 Mobil 1 Toyota GR Supra for Joe Gibbs Racing (JGR) in the NASCAR Xfinity Series (NXS) race on Saturday in Loudon.
  • BELL NCS AT LOUDON: Bell has posted one win, two top-five and two top-10 finishes in four NCS starts at NHMS. Bell’s win came in 2022, he qualified fifth and led 42 laps to take home the checkered flag. In 2021, Bell finished second after NASCAR called the race a few laps shy of the scheduled distance due to diminishing daylight.
  • LOUDON WINNER: Bell is three-for-three in NXS at Loudon. Bell first won in 2018, followed it up with a win in 2019 and then again in 2021. Bell also took home the win in the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series (NCTS) in 2017. In two NCTS starts at Loudon, Bell has win and a second-place finish.
  • 2024 STATS: Bell is one of only four drivers who have earned 10 top-10 finishes so far this season. In addition to his top-10’s, Bell has two wins, five top-five finishes and one pole.
  • RHEEM GUESTS AT NEW HAMPSHIRE: Rheem is hosting over 150 guests this weekend in New Hampshire. Guests are on-site from Watts, the Water Heater Division (WHD) – Northeast Region, FW Webb, and Hajoca.
  • IOWA RECAP: Bell started in the back of the field after going to a backup car following a flat right-front tire in practice that damaged his primary car beyond repair. The No. 20 came to life over long runs and Bell made his way through the field, struggling at times on short runs with fresh tires, but making up ground on the long runs. Bell crossed the finish line fourth in the inaugural NCS race at Iowa Speedway, rebounding with a backup car to earn a top-five finish.
  • JOE GIBBS RACING AT LOUDON: JGR has claimed 13 NCS victories at Loudon. In 140 combined starts the organization has tallied 51 top-five finishes, 80 top-10s and 3,598 laps led. The championship-winning organization has 11 pole awards with an average start of 11.7 an average finish of 11.8.
  • RACE INFO: The USA Today 301 at NHMS begins at 2:30 p.m. ET on Sunday, July 23, 2024. The race will be broadcast live on USA, Sirius XM 90, and PRN Radio.

From the Cockpit:

Christopher Bell: “I have had great equipment every time I’ve gone to Loudon, in Trucks, Xfinity and Cup. Loudon is a track that Joe Gibbs Racing has a great history at, we have good setups at the short tracks and Loudon is a place that translates. I always say if you have a good race car your going to do well and if you have a bad race car your going to do bad and Loudon is one of those places we have good cars most of the time. I’m excited about the Xfinity race Saturday, I’m always thrilled when I get to do extra races, it will be fun, and we’ll see if I can keep the streak going.”
