- The General Tire 150 at Charlotte Motor Speedway is the sixth race of 20 for the ARCA Menards Series in 2024. It is the 1559th race in ARCA Menards Series history dating to 1953, and the 26th time the ARCA Menards Series has raced at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
- Andres Perez enters the General Tire 150 with a six-point lead in the ARCA Menards Series championship standings over Greg Van Alst.
- Perez will be part of a three-car effort for Rev Racing in the General Tire 150. He and his teammate Lavar Scott, who is also running the full 20-race ARCA Menards Series schedule, will be joined for the first time by Sebastian Arias who will be making his series debut in the No. 9 Rev Racing Chevrolet.
- Connor Mosack will return to the seat of the No. 28 Pinnacle Racing Group Chevrolet for the third time in 2024. He finished fourth at Phoenix Raceway before scoring his second career ARCA Menards Series victory at Kansas Speedway.
- Pinnacle Racing Group has won three of its last four starts across the entire ARCA Menards Series platform. Connor Zilisch won the ARCA Menards Series/ARCA Menards Series East combination race at Dover Motor Speedway in April, while Mosack won the following week at Kansas Speedway. Zilisch finished third at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway two weeks ago and followed that with another win at Flat Rock Speedway last weekend in East Series competition.
- Carson Kvapil will make his second start of 2024 aboard the second Pinnacle Racing Group entry. Kvapil finished third at Dover Motor Speedway in his first series start of 2024.
- Dean Thompson will make his second ARCA Menards Series start of 2024 in the No. 20 Venturini Motorsports Toyota. Thomspon finished third in his only other series appearance of 2024 at Kansas Speedway. Thompson will do triple duty at Charlotte; he will follow up the ARCA Menards Series race by racing in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series nightcap for TRICON Garage on Friday night before making his NASCAR Xfinity Series debut for Sam Hunt Racing on Saturday.

A team can change tires and add fuel during the same pit stop, but not simultaneously. Tires can be changed under green only if damaged and approved by an official; fuel is not to be added under green.
- Should the race need to be extended into overtime, there will be unlimited attempts at a two-lap “green-white-checkered” finish. Should the caution be displayed after the white flag, there will be unlimited attempts at a one-lap “green and white together” finish.
