- TEXAS RECAP: Bell qualified third at his home track of Texas Motor Speedway and remained in the top-five throughout stage one. From the Cockpit:
Christopher Bell: “I’m going to go out there at Talladega and know I have a shot to win, so that is always refreshing, but the thing that I don’t like is the calamity that comes with it. One mistake from anybody can end up taking out several other competitors, or the majority of the field. I don’t like the unpredictability of superspeedway racing and the fact that it can be hard to control your own destiny. There are positives and negatives of it, you’ve just got to make the most of it and hopefully you are on the winning side of the wrecks.”
