McAnally-Hilgemann Racing (MHR) announced today that Speedy Cash, a company that provides financial services primarily to under-served consumers, has partnered with 2022 NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series (NCTS) Champion Zane Smith for the SpeedyCash.com 250 at Texas Motor Speedway (TMS) on April 12. Speedy Cash will serve as primary sponsor on Smith’s No. 91 Chevrolet Silverado RST for his third start of the NCTS season with MHR.
“The Texas race weekend is a big deal for Speedy Cash as they have been the title sponsor of the truck race for several years,” said Smith, who’s best NCTS finish is third at TMS. “I’ve ran the Speedy Cash green colors on my truck the last two seasons at Texas and we didn’t get the result we wanted. So, we are going all in to try and get our No. 91 Chevy into Speedy Cash Victory Lane.”
Smith moved up full-time to the NASCAR Cup Series for the 2024 season, competing for Rookie of the Year as driver of the No. 71 for Spire Motorsports in partnership with Trackhouse Racing. Therefore, Smith will pull double duty at TMS. His fourth race in the No. 91 truck for MHR will be at Kansas Speedway on May 4.
Speedy Cash has been an entitlement sponsor of a NCTS race at TMS dating back to 2019, when the track held two truck races per season.
“We are excited to continue our involvement at Texas Motor Speedway and with the exciting young drivers that compete in the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series,” said Lacey Adams, Senior Vice President Marketing, Community Choice Financial, the holding company for Speedy Cash. “We’re very fortunate to continue supporting a former truck series champion in Zane Smith, especially for the SpeedyCash.com 250.”
The SpeedyCash.com 250 at TMS will air Friday, April 12th at 8:30 pm ET on FOX Sports 1.
