No. 20 Rheem Toyota Camry XSE News and Notes:

  • BELL AT PHOENIX RACEWAY: Christopher Bell will make his ninth NASCAR Cup Series (NCS) start at Phoenix Raceway this weekend. Bell has earned four top-10 finishes in his previous eight starts at Phoenix. In the fall of 2023, Bell was part of the Championship 4 but had brake issues end his day early.
  • BELL NXS AT PHOENIX: Bell’s five NASCAR Xfinity Series (NXS) starts at the 1.0-mile track include a must-win victory for a 2018 playoff spot and back-to-back 2019 pole starting positions.
  • TRUCK SERIES PAST AT PHOENIX: Bell has two previous NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series starts at Phoenix. In 2017, he qualified on the pole and finished eighth after leading over half the laps and in 2016, he started fifth and crossed the finish line seventh.
  • LAS VEGAS RECAP: Bell started 10th at Vegas but suffered a flat right rear tire early on in the race. Bell rebounded to finish stage one 10th but things took a turn in stage two. Battling handling issues, Bell spun on track and lost a lap to the leaders. The team tried to ride out the last few laps before the stage break but another flat tire resulted in a green flag stop. Bell finished the race 33rd, two laps down.
  • RHEEM GUESTS AT PHOENIX: Rheem is hosting 50 guests this weekend at Phoenix. On-site is Rheem Executive Bob Peterson (Vice President of Global Operations for Water and Air), guests from plumbing distributor Ferguson, as well as the Water Heater Division of the West Region.
  • JGR AT PHOENIX: In 151 combined starts at Phoenix, Joe Gibbs Racing has earned seven NCS victories at Phoenix, 43 top-five finishes, 80 top-10s and 2,676 laps led.  The championship-winning organization has won six pole awards with an average start of 11.5 and an average finish of 13.2. 
  • RACE INFO: The Shriners Children’s 500 at Phoenix Raceway begins at 3:30 p.m. ET on Sunday, March 10, 2024. The race will be broadcast live on FOX, Sirius XM 90, and MRN Radio.
