- NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series regular – and 2018 ARCA Menards Series East champion – Tyler Ankrum led the final five laps to score the victory in the ARCA Menards Series Zinsser 150 at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course. Ankrum led twice for a total of 21 laps but was forced to charge through the field after being forced off course in turn one while battling for the lead on the restart following the mid-race break.
- Ankrum is the 354th different driver to win at least one ARCA Menards Series race.
- Current ARCA Menards Series East championship leader William Sawalich finished second, 5.011 seconds behind Ankrum at the line. Sawalich has now finished in the top two in each of his last three starts; he won at Berlin Raceway and was second last week at Elko Speedway.
- Jack Wood scored his best career ARCA Menards Series finish in third. It marks his second top-five finish of the season and his fifth top-ten finish in six ARCA Menards Series starts in 2023.
- Jesse Love was forced to start at the back of the field due to electrical issues which caused him to miss qualifying. He quickly charged from 19th starting position to the runner-up position, and he moved into the lead on the restart following the mid-race break. He led eight laps before dropping to fourth with fuel pressure issues over the final handful of laps.
- Dale Quarterley scored his best career ARCA Menards Series finish in fifth. Quarterley made at least two off-track excursions, including a spin between turns five and six, but both times he was able to work his way back towards the front of the field. Quarterley is a six-time ARCA Menards Series East winner, including a road course win at Lime Rock Park.
- Frankie Muniz returned to the site of his open wheel career-ending crash and matched his career-best ARCA Menards Series finish in sixth. Muniz was injured in a Formula Atlantic crash at Mid-Ohio in 2009 that left him with a broken back and injured his ribs and hand. Munizremains second in the ARCA Menards Series championship standings, now 43 points behind leader Jesse Love.
- ARCA Menards Series West championship contender Todd Souza made the long haul from central California to race at Mid-Ohio and was rewarded with a seventh-place finish. Souza fought brake issues throughout the day but was able to stay on course and avoid the late-race incidents in front of him to gain several positions over the last five laps.
- Conner Jones finished eighth, while the two other Venturini Motorsports drivers – Dean Thompson and Sean Hingorani – collided on the final lap, leaving Thomspon tenth and Hingorani, who won the General Tire Pole Award with a new track record in qualifying, in 13th place.
- Zach Herrin scored his best career ARCA Menards Series finish in ninth. He finished 33rd at Daytona in his only other start this season.
- The next race for the ARCA Menards Series is the Calypso Lemonade 150 at Iowa Speedway on Saturday, July 15. The race, a combination race that will also award championship points for the ARCA Menards Series East, will be televised live on FS2 starting at 8 pm ET.
