The Fastest Four Days in Motorsports has arrived for Dominic Scelzi, who will make his way up the West Coast en route to the prestigious Jim Raper Memorial Dirt Cup next week.

The Fastest Four Days in Motorsports with the NARC 410 Sprint Car Series begins this Thursday at Southern Oregon Speedway in Medford, Ore. Douglas County Dirt Track in Roseburg, Ore., hosts a race on Friday before the action shifts to Willamette Speedway in Lebanon, Ore., on Saturday. The weekend concludes on Sunday at Grays Harbor Raceway in Elma, Wash.

“I’m looking forward to the challenge of traveling and seeing a different track each night,” Scelzi said. “It will be a grueling next couple of weeks for us, but it’s also a great opportunity. I feel confident that we can consistently produce strong results and can contend for some wins.”

The following week showcases four races at Skagit Speedway in Alger, Wash., with the Dirt Cup Tune-Up on June 20 followed by the $62,000-to-win Dirt Cup running June 22-24. Scelzi captured the Dirt Cup title in 2021 – the last year it was an ASCS National Tour event.

“That was a huge win in my career and last year we ran third with it being a NARC event so we’ve enjoyed success at the Dirt Cup,” he said. “It’s one of the biggest races not only on the West Coast, but in the country. We’re heading there with the goal of continuing our success and being in contention when Saturday’s A Main kicks off.”

Scelzi enters the races this weekend ranked second in the NARC 410 Sprint Car Series championship standings – only eight points out of the lead – eight races into the 21-race schedule.

“We’re a little more than a third of the way through the NARC season and these next two weeks are another third of the season so it’s important that we run well each night,” he said. “Our focus is on consistency.”
