- Jesse Love scored his fourth career ARCA Menards Series victory and his second consecutive with his win in the Dawn 150 at Kansas Speedway. With the win, Love now unofficially leaps to lead in the ARCA Menards Series championship standings by two points over current runner-up Frankie Muniz.
- Dean Thompson earned his best career ARCA Menards Series finish, second, in his first start of the season driving for Venturini Motorsports. His best previous finish was eighth, also at Kansas, in 2021.
- Taylor Gray made his second ARCA Menards Series start of the season and his first for TRICON Garage, finishing third. He finished seventh at Talladega driving for Joe Gibbs Racing. It marks his 36th career top-ten finish in 39 career starts.
- Connor Mosack returned to the cockpit of the Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota and finished fourth, his second top-five finish in two starts in 2023; he finished a career-best second at Daytona to start the season.
- Jack Wood, who finished fifth, scored his second career top-five finish and his first since he finished fourth in the spring race at Kansas in 2021.
- Andres Perez de Lara finished sixth and broke into the top five in the ARCA Menards Series standings for the first time in fifth.
- Cody Coughlin made his first start of 2023 and crossed the finish line in seventh. Coughlin’s team is headed by Kevin Hamlin, who at one time was crew chief for the late Dale Earnhardt, and his spotter is former NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series winner Terry Cook.
- Franke Muniz scored his third straight top-ten finish in eighth but dropped to second in the standings two points behind new leader Jesse Love. Muniz’s only finish outside the top ten was an eleventh-place finish in the season-opener at Daytona, missing out on tenth by just a few feet.
- Christian Rose scored his first top-ten finish of 2023 in ninth. It marks his second career ARCA Menards Series top-ten result, the other a seventh-place finish last fall, also at Kansas.
- Daytona winner Greg Van Alst rounded out the top ten, his third top-ten finish of the season. VanAlst was racing in memory of his father Bruce who passed away earlier in the week at the age of 66 after a courageous battle with cancer.
- Toni Breidinger became the first female driver to compete in the ARCA Menards Series and the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series on the same day, finishing eleventh in the Dawn 150 and then coming home 15th in the Truck Series nightcap.
- Hometown favorite Mandy Chick, from nearby DeSoto, Kansas, finished 12th in a car her father Steve Chick, Jr. and their all-volunteer crew built in just six days.
- There were six lead changes among three drivers; Love led a race-high 96 laps, Taylor Gray led three, and Dean Thompson led one, the first time he’s ever led an ARCA Menards Series race.
- Nine of the top ten positions in the championship standings changed after the Dawn 150.
