Justin Marks Racing in Trans Am and SRX Series This Weekend

Trackhouse Racing

Daniel Suárez and Ross Chastain aren’t the only Trackhouse Racing drivers with a busy schedule this weekend.

Trackhouse owner and founder Justin Marks will fill in for Helio Castroneves at Stafford Motor Speedway in the Camping World SRX Series on Saturday night in Connecticut.

The SRX Series was created by Tony Stewart, Ray Evernham, George Pyne and Sandy Montag and launched last summer.

SRX takes a dozen of the most iconic names in modern day motorsports and places them in identically prepared cars to race across six of the most venerable dirt tracks and pavement bullrings in the United States to bring motorsports legends to the local Saturday night racing scene.

In addition to Marks, Saturday’s race will include Tony Stewart, Bill Elliott, Hailie Deegan, Marco Andretti, Paul Tracy, Bobby Labonte, Michael Waltrip, Ryan Hunter Reay, Greg Biffle, Ryan Newman and local ringer Matt Hirschman.

The SRX race is in addition to Trans Am races on Marks’ schedule Saturday and Sunday at Road America.

Saturday’s race at Stafford Motor Speedway in Stafford Springs, Conn., is the third SRX race of the 2022 season.

Coverage will be on CBS at 8 p.m. EDT with streaming live on Paramount+.
