– Daniel Dye made his first career road course start at the 12-turn, 1.967-mile Portland International Raceway, driving the GMS Racing No. 43 Orlando Longwood Auto Auction, DeLand Motorsports & Outdoors Chevrolet.

– Daniel captured the General Tire Pole Award in his third career ARCA Menards Series West start. Combination practice and qualifying was held under steady rain showers, with the No. 43 Chevrolet finishing 7-tenths ahead of second.

– Dye managed his race well, completing the mission of running all the laps and bringing the car home without a scratch.

– The race was shortened because of heavy rain and challenging visibility.
