13-time USCS National Champion, Terry Gray is a 2022 Hall of Fame Inductee

Congratulations to the “Bartlett Bullet”, 13-time United Sprint Car Series presented by K&N Filters National Champion, Terry Gray from Bartlett, Tennessee who was announced at the 2022 Chili Bowl Midget Nationals event in Tulsa, Oklahoma as a 2022 National Sprint Car Hall of Fame Inductee.

Gray who in addition to his thirteen USCS Outlaw Thunder Tour titles as the owner/driver of his famed black #10 car has also been a 15-time time United Sprint Car Series National Championship car owner with teammate Morgan Turpen as the driver of his #10m sprint car during her successful 2015 and 2016 USCS title runs.

The Tennessee veteran sprint car racer has the distinction of being the driver who won the inaugural United Sprint Car Series event, when he garnered the USCS Outlaw Thunder Tour main event at Talladega Short Track on Friday, April 25, 1997. He has 94-career USCS Outlaw Thunder Tour visits to the USCS Victory Lane. The versatile career racer collected sixty-nine of those USCS wins on dirt ovals. His twenty-five other USCS victories came on paved ovals when the United Sprint Car Series was the only winged sprint car series in the World that raced on both surfaces each season.

Gray has combined 39 National and regional series USCS titles on dirt and pavement. He has spent most of the later part of his storied career since the 2001 racing season as a full-time United Sprint Car Series competitor having only ever missed 4 races due to injuries.

He finished out the 2021 season as the runner-up in all three USCS divisions including the USCS Outlaw Thunder Tour, USCS Mid-South Thunder Tour regional series plus the USCS Southern Thunder Tour regional series.

In addition to his United Sprint Car Series accomplishments, Terry Gray is a four-time and the inaugural American Sprint Car Series (ASCS) National Champion. He also was a three-time National Championship Racing Association (NCRA) 410 Sprint Car Champion. He has won sprint car main events at over one hundred different speedways. He was additionally in the inaugural World of Outlaws Sprint Cars top ten.
