·  Tick Tock Clock: Harrison Burton and his DEX Imaging team head to Martinsville Speedway looking to win another famed grandfather clock and secure a spot in the Championship 4 in Phoenix next week. No stranger to success at the historic track, Burton has one win and two top-five finishes on his resume at the southern Virginia short track. In his last visit to Martinsville earlier this season, Burton led 52 laps before finishing seventh.

·  Kansas Recap: The NASCAR Xfinity Series paid a visit to Kansas Speedway last weekend. After starting seventh, Burton worked his way to as high as second before getting caught in a late-race accident on lap 178, relegating Burton and his Morton Buildings team to a 34th– place finish.

·  Playoff Battle: Following the race in Kansas last weekend, Burton and his Joe Gibbs Racing team currently sit eighth in the playoff standings and need a win to secure their spot in the Championship 4 next weekend.

·  Starting Spot Secured: Burton and his DEX Imaging team will roll off 10th on Saturday evening in Martinsville.

·  JGR at Martinsville: Burton has JGR’s only NASCAR Xfinity Series win at Martinsville Speedway. The championship organization has five top-five finishes in nine starts and the team has never finished worse than ninth.

From the Cockpit:

Harrison Burton:

“I’m excited to get to Martinsville this weekend and go try and win another grandfather clock. Martinsville means a lot to my family and I, and it’s just a really special place to race. We know the situation we are in. We are coming off a race where had speed and were in contention to win, and in racing that that’s all you can do. My team and I have confidence heading into Saturday and I’m looking forward to putting on a good show for all the fans under the lights at Martinsville!”
