Phoenix Raceway

Phoenix Raceway will host two NASCAR weekends again in 2022 and the marquis event of its March 11-13 weekend has a new name – the Ruoff Mortgage 500.

Phoenix Raceway and Ruoff Mortgage announced the news today as NASCAR unveiled its complete 2022 national series schedule. The Ruoff Mortgage 500, the fourth race in the 2022 NASCAR Cup Series schedule, will run on March 13 and cap a weekend of action at the renown one-mile dogleg oval.  NASCAR announced earlier this year that NASCAR Championship Weekend will return to Phoenix Raceway in 2022 for a third consecutive year, featuring four championship races in three days Nov. 4-6.

“Phoenix Raceway is home away from home for thousands of NASCAR fans across The Valley, and we can’t wait to welcome them back for two exciting weekends next season,” said Phoenix Raceway President Julie Giese. “And we’re more than pleased that Ruoff Mortgage is rolling out the welcome mat for our opening NASCAR weekend next season, making home sweet home even sweeter for our fans in the Spring.”

Ruoff Mortgage, the Official Mortgage Partner of NASCAR, is a full-service residential mortgage company with 70-plus brick and mortar retail locations and a national online consumer direct division. It also welcomes home winners to Ruoff Mortgage Victory Lane at NASCAR-owned tracks from coast to coast, including Phoenix Raceway’s doglegged one-mile oval.

“The Ruoff Mortgage 500 is a celebration of racing, its fans, and the iconic track at Phoenix Raceway,” said Kim Murphy, chief administrative officer at Ruoff Mortgage. “Just like in racing, speed is essential when it comes to purchasing a home, and for nearly 40 years we’ve been getting people ‘clear to close’ fast and stress-free. We are excited to connect with and welcome home race fans in Arizona and across the country with this partnership.”
