Martinsville Speedway and Cook Out announce a partnership on the entitlement of the spring NASCAR Xfinity Series Dash 4 Cash race on April 9. Cook Out, one of the fastest growing family-owned restaurant chains in the nation, will also become the Official Quick Service Restaurant of Martinsville Speedway. The official name of the spring Xfinity Series race at Martinsville Speedway will be the Cook Out 250.
“Cook Out has been serving fresh burgers, barbecue, hot dogs and shakes to NASCAR fans across the south for over 30 years, so we are proud to welcome them as an official partner of Martinsville Speedway,” said Martinsville President Clay Campbell. “We look forward to Cook Out helping us fire up the NASCAR Xfinity Series over our spring race weekend with the Cook Out 250.”
On Friday, April 9, the future stars of NASCAR will compete in the Cook Out 250 Xfinity Series race under the lights at 8:00 p.m. The race will also be the first race in Xfinity’s Dash 4 Cash. The track last hosted a spring Xfinity Series race from 1982 to 1994. This will mark the first spring Xfinity Series race at Martinsville since 1994, and its first-ever at night.
Cook Out will have a substantial presence with at-track signage this race season at Martinsville Speedway. As part of the partnership, Cook Out will have additional sponsorship rights with Martinsville for point-of-sale, advertising collateral, in-market promotions, consumer sweepstakes and integrated digital campaigns. The brand is also an official partner with NASCAR legacy tracks, Darlington Raceway and Richmond Raceway; including the entitlement for the 72nd running of the Cook Out Southern 500®, which will launch the NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs for the second consecutive year on Sunday, Sept. 5.

2021 NASCAR Season
Martinsville will host its first-ever three race weekend of night races on April 8-10. For the first time since 2010, the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour will compete in the Virginia is for Racing Lovers 200 on Thursday, April 8. Martinsville will host a Cook Out 250 NASCAR Xfinity Series Dash 4 Cash race on Friday, April 9 at 8:00 p.m. and the Blue-Emu Maximum Pain Relief 500 NASCAR Cup Series race on Saturday, April 10 at 7:30 p.m.
Martinsville will once again host the penultimate races of the NASCAR Cup Series, NASCAR Xfinity Series, and NASCAR Camping World Truck Series seasons on Oct. 30-31. On Saturday, Oct. 30, Martinsville will host a doubleheader with the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Playoff race at 1:00 p.m. and the Dead On Tools 250 NASCAR Xfinity Series Playoff race at 6:00 p.m. The NASCAR Cup Series’ Championship 4 will be set in the Xfinity 500 on Sunday, Oct. 31 at 2:00 p.m.
The ValleyStar Credit Union 300, the nation’s biggest, richest and most prestigious NASCAR Late Model Stock Car race, will return for an evening of intense competition on Sept. 25.
