PPIR Celebrates Class of 2020 with A Cruise to the Finish Line

Pikes Peak International Raceway

Spring break escapes, prom and endless backyard barbecue celebrations are what most seniors envision in the final few months of their high school careers. COVID-19 has changed everyone’s new normal, including how the community celebrates the Class of 2020. Pikes Peak International Raceway’s Cruise to the Finish event is tailored specifically to the Pikes Peak region’s seniors to figuratively, and literally, culminate their academic accomplishments by crossing the track’s finish line.

The two-day celebration set for June 11 and 12, offers seniors, with friends and family as passengers, the opportunity to drive PPIR’s famous oval course in their own vehicles. The $15 per driver ticket price includes a laminated driver credential, three laps around the course led by a NASCAR pace car, a photo opportunity inside victory lane to commemorate the experience and entry into a variety of sponsor giveaways.

A limited number of cars will be allowed on the track in one-hour increments. Buddy and spectator passes will be available to purchase for non-drivers.
