Pocono Raceway Opens Seasonal, Safe Distancing Campground & Infield Sites Available For First Time

Pocono Raceway

Pocono Raceway announced their seasonal, social distancing campgrounds are officially open today. The creation of the new ‘Infield RV Park’ Campground, located inside the historic 2.5-mile track and where the stars of NASCAR stay, compliments their established ‘Long Pond’ Campground, located one mile from the Raceway. Together, Pocono Raceway now offers over 100 RV campsites with up to 50-amp power, water and sewage hook-ups and a host of amenities. All campgrounds will open and follow the social distancing guidelines and protocols as set by the CDC and state officials.

“Camping is a great way for families to enjoy a vacation while practicing social distancing,” said Pocono Raceway CEO, Nick Igdalsky. “Our multiple campground options allow for individuals to pick their sites based on their preferred location. We are thrilled to introduce the new sites inside our track and to allow for guests to stay where NASCAR drivers reside during our annual races. We look forward to welcoming RV travelers, and their families and for them to enjoy all the local, outdoor activities the beautiful Pocono Mountains has to offer.”

Pocono Raceway’s seasonal campgrounds include a wide variety of amenities, available to all visitors in both the ‘Infield RV Park’ and ‘Long Pond” Campgrounds. These amenities* include the Pocono Mountains Inclusive Playground, a dog park, water and sewage hook ups, up to 50-amp power hook ups, updated restroom and shower facilities, outdoor swimming pool and more. The ‘Infield RV Park’ campsites are the same spots NASCAR drivers and legends stay during Pocono Raceway’s NASCAR events each summer.

Campsites at the ‘Infield RV Park’ Campground are available for $60 per day or $400 per week. RV campsites at the ‘Long Pond’ Campground are available starting at $45 per day or $285 per week. To purchase your RV stay starting today, visit www.poconoraceway.com/campground.

*Certain amenities and facilities will be closed in accordance with CDC and state guidelines, at this time.

**Certain blackout dates may apply for both ‘Infield RV Park’ and ‘Long Pond’ Campgrounds.
