  • Daytona 500 Debut: Christopher Bell will make his first NASCAR Cup Series (NCS) start in the Daytona 500 on Sunday, February 16th.  The rookie from Norman, Okla., took to the track Saturday for his first practice session in the No. 95 Procore Camry for Leavine Family Racing, posting the sixth fastest time out of 43 cars.
  • Leading the Way for the Rookies:  Bell posted the ninth fastest time in single car qualifying on Sunday afternoon and was the highest qualifying rookie contender.
  • Daytona Duels:  With his ninth-place qualifying effort, Bell will line up fifth in the first of two Duel qualifying races on Thursday, February 13th.  Bell’s finish there will determine his official starting position for the 62nd running of the Daytona 500.
  • Bell at Daytona:  Bell’s Cup Series debut at Daytona comes on the heels of success in the NASCAR Xfinity Series (NXS) at the 2.5-mile Superspeedway.  Bell has an average finish of 4.0 in his last three NXS starts at the DIS.
  • Leavine Family Racing’s 10th Anniversary:  Leavine Family Racing (LFR) is celebrating the 10th anniversary of competing in the NCS series and in honor of the achievement the No. 95 will run a commemorative logo on the nose of the Camry for the 2020 season.
  • Bell on his 2020 Goals: “Our goal heading into 2020 is to get better week in and week out, this is a huge learning experience for me jumping from the Xfinity Series to the Cup Series.  We don’t have a ton of expectations since we don’t know how I’m going to adapt as a driver, but one of our big goals is to be able to compete with the Joe Gibbs Racing (JGR) cars.  If the JGR cars are competitive then our goal is to be right there with them.  Hopefully at some point this season we are competing for wins.”
  • Procore:  Procore, a leading provider of construction management software, first appeared on the hood of the No. 95 in 2017 and has continued to build on their program as they enter their fourth season with LFR. Procore will be featured as the primary sponsor six times throughout the 2020 season, kicking off with the season-opener Daytona 500.  For more information visit: https://www.procore.com/
  • Crew Chief Comfort:  Bell heads into his rookie year with a familiar voice atop of the pit box.  Veteran crew chief Jason Ratcliff returns to the Cup Series once again, this time with a rookie after two successful years competing together in the Xfinity Series for Joe Gibbs Racing.  Ratcliff led Matt Kenseth to 15 NCS victories from 2013-2017 before being teamed up with Bell in the Xfinity Series in 2018.  Together Ratcliff and Bell lead a record-setting 2,005 laps in 2018 and over their two-year NXS stint earned 15 wins, 38 top-five and 41 top-10 finishes, while also earning 11 pole starting positions.

From the Cockpit:

Christopher Bell: “I’m truly excited about the opportunity to race in the “Great American Race.”  It’s one of the biggest events in motorsports and to be a part of it is a dream come true.  I think our Procore Camry is really, really fast and we will have a great opportunity at it on Sunday, we just have to go out there and make the most of it.”
