Brennan Poole will be joining forces once again with On Point Motorsports after completing a partial schedule in the 2019 season with the team. Poole will be returning to the No. 30 Toyota Tundra for the NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoor Truck Series’ (NGROTS) NextEra Energy 250 at Daytona International Speedway.
The 28-year-old driver partnered up with Spartan Mosquito to serve as the primary sponsor for the series opener. Their primary focus is helping others. Central to the company mission, they are glad to continually assist in hurricane and disaster relief, educational initiatives, and most importantly supporting our military. Poole had partnered up with Spartan Mosquito last season at Talladega Superspeedway and again this season for 17 NASCAR Cup Series races.
Joining Spartan Mosquito at Daytona will be the R.E.D. (RememberEveryoneDeployed.org) organization. RememberEveryoneDeployed.org is a nonprofit organization designed to help support our deployed service members and their families.
Poole earned one top-five finish and four top-10 finishes in the 13 races he competed with On Point Motorsports last season. Earning his first NGROTS and the team’s first top-five finish with a second-place award at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
No stranger to Daytona, the Woodlands, Texas native, has had five starts at the speedway between the NGROTS and the NASCAR Xfinity Series. While running a full-time Xfinity Series season in 2017, Poole had earned a third-place starting position in the first Daytona race. Later that season, he went back for the second Daytona race, where he won his first pole award in one of NASCAR’s premier series. Poole will pilot the No. 30 Spartan Mosquito Toyota Tundra at Daytona International Speedway for the NextEra Energy 250 on Feb. 14th at 7:30 p.m. E.T. The race will broadcast live on FOX Sports 1 and air on Sirius XM NASCAR Channel 90, as well as M.R.N. Radio.
Poole on Daytona: “I’m really excited to be back again with the On Point guys and build off of the momentum we had last year. We’re going to contend for wins again in 2020, and I can’t wait to display the Spartan Mosquito colors and represent them at Daytona in the truck series.”
