After a successful first season, KMW Motorsports with TMR Engineering has reached agreement with Romeo Ferraris TCR to enter the No. 5 Alfa Romeo Giulietta for the full 2020 season as a premium entrant in the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge.  Roy Block and Tim Lewis Jr. will be sharing driving duties for the 2020 campaign for the second consecutive season.

The team’s first season proved to be a year of growth for the team and drivers as several adjustments to the platform were required to compete in IMSA’s endurance format of two- and four-hour races.  Team principals Louis Milone and Kevin Wheeler are excited to bring back a proven veteran driver line up and noted that “Roy and Tim have a natural energy between them, they continue to build and grow off of one another. They push each other to be better, and they compete even when they are not competing, not as rivals, but as friends, and this is a recipe for success.”

In 2020, Roy Block will be competing in his fifth season in the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge series in both the ST and TCR categories. The 2020 season will be Tim Lewis Jr.’s second season driving in TCR with previous experience driving Porsche, Pontiac, and Mazda in IMSA’s GT.

The 2020 IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge season opens with the ROAR Before the 24 at Daytona International Speedway on the weekend of January 3-5th, with the first race of the 2020 season for IMPC teams also at Daytona, Set for Friday, January 24.
